Glory to past, present and future foreign agents in Georgia, Ukraine, Armenia, Moldova, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan...??? NO!

Glory to past, present and future Georgian foreign agents who put the geopolitical interests of their foreign paymasters (transnational financial-industrial groups (FIGs)[1] that control Western governments), ahead of Georgia's and are willing to plunge Georgia into recession, slow obliteration of Georgia's culture and its ethnic & religious traditions, and even civil & foreign wars and use Georgia as their expendable political, economic and military pawn?

NO!

Foreign interference in domestic political affairs, especially of relative small countries (by population, land mass, natural resources and/or national economy) through domestic agents of influence (foreign agents) in

- political parties/movements,

- all branches of government (nationwide and local),

- non-governmental (non-profit) organizations, and

- key industries (mass media, communications, security,
weapons manufacturing and defense contractors)
is extremely dangerous, if not lethal,  to national sovereignty and autonomy, not to mention genuine democracy by the people and for the people.

Why?

Because foreign paymasters who can spend billions of dollars / euros / cryptocurrencies  without even blinking an eye, if left unchecked, can quickly gain total control of a relative small country's political system, government, non-government organizations mass media and industry -- for their own purposes which may be diametrically opposed to the local population's traditions, future generations and long term interests.

So how do you protect your country from foreign interference?

By legislation

- requiring the disclosure and registration of foreign agents,

- prohibiting foreign financing of political parties, politicians, lobbyists, NGOs,

- prohibiting, limiting or regulating foreign investment in mass media, especially news media, and other key industries.

So what happens when you don't enact the above measures?

Easy!

You get a country that

- loses its sovereignty,

- only has superficial democracy if not a foreign-controlled authoritarian state (albeit loyal to its foreign
sponsors),

- is run by government officials, politicians and political parties who value the compensation, protection and marching orders from their foreign sponsors / handlers / controllers more than the support and interests of their domestic population and electorate,

- serves the interests of its foreign sponsors (foreign governments and the FIGs controlling them) above or even in opposition to the interests of its own population / citizenry.

So if you're a Georgian patriot who's for a sovereign, democratic, free and independent Georgia -- independent of American, EU, NATO and Russian influence (both government and FIG) -- then you should support keeping foreign money, influence and agents out of Georgian political affairs.

Unless you're a de facto foreign agent, a Georgian who received(s) funding from foreign

- government programs & agencies,

- transnational FIGs and their subsidiaries, public relations firms & lobbyists,

- NGOs (funds, foundations, endowments, etc.),
- political parties & movements,

- educational & research institutions (universities, institutes and think tanks),

and is afraid that enactment of the foreign agent law will put an end to the foreign feeding troth.

Or who wants Georgia to become a vassal / puppet state, a banana republic, a modern version of former colonies from the 15th to the 20th centuries in Africa, Asia, the Middle East and the Americas.

Any questions or comments?

Obviously it's easier just to chant simple slogans -- including those that have been used in the past by non-democratic fascist regimes and political movements -- than to address and try to refute the above truths point by point.

[1] Including transnational FIGs with huge holdings in the military-industrial complex, energy, pharmaceutical, communications and mass media sectors.

FIGs whose primary motives are

(a) wealth preservation

- including protecting business operations and assets from government seizure / confiscation / nationalization by controlling governments through their agents of influence (political parties, politicians, elected & appointed government officials and senior civil servants in all branches of government),

      and

(b) long-term profit from business activity world-wide, including from

- government contracts, especially in defense, security and law enforcement sectors,

- government financing,

- labor (human resources) that's cheap, unorganized and unprotected from unsafe or unhealthy work conditions,

- consumers that are uneducated, brain-washed by advertising or with limited options purchasing options through monopolies & cartels,

- cheap sources of raw materials (if necessary, with raw material price suppression through collusion or market control via commodities exchanges),

- low environmental protection that allows manufacturers to reduce production costs at the expense of environmental pollution,

- lax legislation and government enforcement against monopolies, trusts, price collusion, market manipulation, and tax evasion though transfer pricing and offshore structures,

- favorable tax treatment, customs regimes and government subsidies,

most of which is accomplished with the indispensable aid of their agents of influence (foreign agents).
