Those of us who were born and/or lived in the Soviet Union know the pervasiveness and dangers of government propaganda.
Unfortunately, the majority of people in the United States, Canada, UK, European Union, Australia, New Zealand and other G-20 countries don't realize that corporate-owned mainstream and social media are no different than old Soviet State media (like TASS or Pravda) when it comes to disseminating the official version of events -- one that their corporate stakeholders want you to believe and one that may be the opposite of the truth.
And these stakeholders -- giant trans-national (global) financial-industrial groups & their owners who control & own not just news & entertainment media, but also political parties, politicians and governments (through elected & appointed government officials) -- learned a long time ago that the best way to protect the governments & politicians that they own from public scrutiny and accountability before their citizens (voters, taxpayers and consumers) is though use and control of news and entertainment media.
So if you want to know the truth, or, as they say, the other side of the truth (as though truth is like a coin), about politics, business & economics, law, military affairs and culture in or related to
